My Life

This is where my thoughts, opinions, feelings, and experiences all meet. This is a written testiment of what they tell me is my life. Sometimes the thoughts expressed here are going to be extreme, the opinions controvertial, the feelings emotional and the experiences down right dramatic...all things considered they're mine. IT'S MY LIFE!

I've been described as militant, opinionated, headstrong, lound mouthed, and an all around urban paradox. And all I have to say for it is...flattery will get you everywhere. But please don't be fooled by my strong opinions and ghetto girl attitude, I'm a very friendly, open minded and approachable person.

Teach Personal Freedoms Tour

Yesterday me and two of my friends (Kia & Marvin) went to the Teach Personal Freedoms Tour in Phila. This was the first time I attended. I heard about it on the radio, and decided since it was a free event that I would check it out. The message was to promote personal freedom and honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Also to raise money for the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. memorial that's going to be built in Washington D.C. I really had a good time.

Police Academy

It's offical. I made it into the Police Academy. My acceptance letter came yesterday. Although my Sargent gave me a uniform, he said I needed to wait for offical notice. He told me he would call me and that I should get a letter. So since then I've been waiting anxiously. I really didn't want to tell anybody until I was definately sure. I told a couple of close friends and familly members because I just couldn't contain myself when I got my uniform.

Orientation is on Feb. 22ed. From what I've heard the first day is crazy. I'm trying to physically and mentally prepare myself for all the challenges ahead. I'll be attending for about 6 months, and I'll graduate in June.
